APC must produce ‘original Shekau’, says Fayose
Ayodele Fayose, governor of Ekiti state, wants the All Progressives Congress (APC) to “produce the original Abubakar Shekau”, leader of the Boko Haram Islamist sect.
Fayose made the demand to counter APC’s claim that the federal government and President Goodluck Jonathan were plotting to produce a fake Shekau and present before Nigerians in order to claim glory of winning the war on terrorism while implicating its presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari.
In a statement released on Tuesday by Lere Olayinka, his special assistant on public communication and new media, Fayose branded APC’s claim as a further confirmation that the opposition knows those behind the Boko Haram insurgency.
“It is obvious that APC does not want the insurgency to end. Up till today, the APC has not made any statement, commending our gallant soldiers that are laying down their lives to save Nigerians from the Boko Haram insurgents,” he said.
“Instead of commending the soldiers and encouraging them, what the APC people are doing is to blackmail the military and one wonders why a party will want to take over power by supporting killing of innocent Nigerians.
“With the onslaught on the Boko Haram by our gallant soldiers, the APC appears to have lost the game of using the insurgency to campaign against President Goodluck Jonathan.
“Instead of them to face this reality, they have come up with this criminal assertion that a fake leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau,
was being presented before Nigerians by the government, in order to claim winning the war on terrorism.
“They are also claiming the fake Shekau might become a tool to blackmail members of the opposition by coaching the phantom terror
chief to say he was working for its presidential candidate, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari, in order to link him to terrorism.
“With this statement coming from the APC, it is clear that the party knows what we don’t know about Boko Haram. It also indicates that the APC people do not want the Boko Haram insurgency to end so that they can continue to make political gains from it.”

l Shekau that they know because you can only recognise fake when you know the original.”
APC’s statement left wondering whether they want the insurgency to continue. Tomorrow they may say soldiers are killing northerners, civilians or Muslims. If their statement is true, they have owe Nigerians an explanation.
APC is a scam! Anti-Progressive Congress!! They are disgruntled and desperate. Will never ever smell near Aso Rock until they learn to work in the light not in the dark. Bunch of frustrated ex-PDP members. They must produce the ‘real’ Shekau’ as they can tell the difference b/w fake and original.
Infact I was pissed off when I saw the trash,blah blah blah on APC supporter post/share on Facebook,and even some elite posted it on their wall, it shows some people are yet to know the reason they want change.

Even the soldiers are aware who is behind Boko haram.Pdp allowed so much casualties on d Nigerian army now pdp n d govt have woken up to their responsibility because election has come….the lives of those soldiers meant nothing to pdp.Lastly to fayose, he is a disgrace to the yoruba nation.
Everything is very smelly, the way PDP decides when to allow the insurgency to fester when there were no elections, and can now decide at will to end it when Nigerians have decided to make it an election issue.

Let’s be factual we all know what the government in power can do to claim victory at all cost, so am not disputing d allegation of PDP producing fake shakau,they are capable of doing such because they have done dat in the past. In 1984 a certain General said they wanted to build the Nation for the then youths to be leaders of tomorrow, (meaning today), 30 years after he is back again to help reposition the youths again for a better tomorrow. Very unfortunate that APC will come up with such a statement, very unfortunate indeed. I reserve some of my comments, till after elections.
Before before … my thought was “won ro pe were ni” whenever Ayodele Fayose commented on any national issues (a right he has at all times) but now my thought is changing to that of “e be like say dem right oo”. Gbam!

Guv Ayo Fayose proves with each passing day that OBJ was right to see him as an area boy that should not be allowed near Government House. But now GEJ has used Obanikoro and the military (as recorded on the Ekitigate tape) to forced the area boy on Ekiti people, replacing the urbane and cultured Gov Fayemi. He embarrasses the PDP everyday with his comments. I am sure now they don’t know what to do with him. APC said, the Nigerian Army has killed two Shekaus before now, (and we believe them) so where are they going to get the one they want to capture alive.
The Boko Haram is one out of several failings of the government. There iw matter of corruption, mismanaged economy, unemployment, falling standard of education infrastructural decay, etc. And even on the issue of the military willing against the Boko Hqram, it is further probe that Jonathan lacks the fore sight a leader needs to govern a people – allowing thousands of people to be killed, millions to be displaced, material resources destroyed for not giving Boko HARAM the needed push to arrestand nib it you at the bud

Sometime ago, the Nigerian Army said they’ve killed one Shekau, even the Cameroonian army laid claim to the killing as well. Fayose should tell us was it the original or fake Shekau that was killed then.

It is ironic that GEJ/PDP slept for Five years and allowed these senseless group to kidnap our girls,kill thousands and rendered thousands homeless before suddenly waking up because of the coming election only to promise routing the criminals in three weeks! He stepped down ad decided to apply the alternative: state of emergency
The same APC said No! That it is against the people and bad for the Military to take administration of the states.
Goodluck now decided to allow the Government continue but still went on with the State of Emergency.
Now APC still shouted that the same government is clueless to have put a state of emergent without a Military Administrator…. Haba!
