Buhari meets Saraki, four APC governors at Aso Rock
Senate President Bukola Saraki met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa in Abuja.
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and four governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) also attended the meeting.
The governors are Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), Aminu Masari (Katsina), Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara) and Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun.
Aminu Masari (Katsina Gov), Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti, gov elect), Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun Gov) Bukola Saraki (Senate President), Muhammadu Buhari (President), Yemi Osinbaj (Vice President), Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara Gov) and Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi Gov).
Kayode Fayemi, governor-elect of Ekiti, also attended the meeting which lasted 45 minutes.
It is unclear if the meeting was about the supplementary budget Buhari sent to the national assembly on Wednesday or the reports that Saraki is on his way out of the ruling party.
When asked the purpose and outcome of the meeting, Saraki and the governors declined comments.
