The United Kingdom (UK) says Nigerians can have confidence in the outcome of the presidential election that held on Saturday.

President Muhammadu Buhari, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), won the election with Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) coming second.

Harriett Baldwin, UK’s minister of state for Africa, in a statement issued on Wednesday, said the result declared was consistent with the civil society parallel vote tabulation process.

“I offer my congratulations to President Buhari on securing a second term as the Nigerian President,” she said in the statement.

“The UK is a long-standing friend and partner of Nigeria and the Nigerian people, and a stable and prosperous Nigeria benefits Africa and the world.

“The Nigerian people have demonstrated resilience and a commitment to democracy. The result declared by the Nigerian election commission is consistent with the result obtained through the civil society Parallel Vote Tabulation process. Along with our international partners, the UK believes the Nigerian people can have confidence in the result.”

Atiku had rejected the result describing the election as the worst in the history of Nigeria. Following the announcement on Wednesday, he said the election witnessed an  implementation of grant theft of the people’s will.

Reacting, however, Baldwin urged the opposition to challenge the result in a peaceful manner.

“We also recognise that independent Nigerian voices have expressed concerns about the conduct of the electoral process, in particular logistics and results collation, and reports of intimidation of election officials,” she said.

“We urge any party or individual who wishes to challenge the process to do so peacefully and through the appropriate legal channel and we encourage Nigerian authorities to examine all allegations of wrongdoing carefully, and take the necessary action against individuals found responsible.

“My thoughts are also with the families and friends of those who lost their lives in election-related violence. No one should die in the exercise of their democratic rights. We will continue to support Nigeria and its civil society in drawing lessons from these elections and strengthening its democracy.”

This thing called UK whose criminal colonial ancestors set up this failed state called Nigeria should keep its rotten mental state out of the affairs of Nigeria. Harriet and her ill informed team of Ministry of African affairs are pure simpletons and desktop evaluations experts with NO mental capacity to understand the rape of democracy that took place in Nigeria on February 23rd.2019.In her faulty state of mind it is perfectly alright for INEC and APC to utilize rigged numbers, brute force and violence , kill and maim innocent Nigerians, burn their PVCs and ballots, set the polling stations ablaze, allow children under 18 to vote , brazenly allow bribery of voters at polling stations then have INEC emerge with rigged numbers which in her opinion are consistent with the so called Parallel Vote Tabulation process of the UK. This must be how elections are conducted in Britain…
Until this thing called UK is severed from the Nation of Nigeria, nothing fair, just and right or egalitarian will be become Nigeria. I am confident that there shall emerge a generation of Nigerian that will one day terminate this cancer called UK from the affairs Nigeria..until then Nigeria shall remain the shameless economic and political slave of this colonial empire whose Sun has finally set.

GAVE YOU THE IMPRESSION THAT THE THE ELECTION WAS VERIFIED. 1. All PDP strongholds were attacked vehemently in all major PDP states by the Military and the APC THUGS 2. Many collation centres were asked to declare result under duress and force by the Military 3. Lots of Ballot boxes were carted away in various polling unit by the Military and the APC THUGS . Lots of Nigerians in major PDP states were not allow to vote. They were prevented by the Military who are working for Buhari to stop them from performing their civic responsibilities 5. Alot of people were killed and murdered who insisted to vote and resisted the military in some areas from carting away with Ballot boxes. So how could you say the election result was verified. This result does not signify or represent the will of the Nigerian people. We have alot of evidences to buttressed our point as we have secret cameras in major polling unit. How could you of all people come up with such an incredible and and deemeanin statements to the Nigerian people. Please make your investigations and reversed your statement as soon as possible. I expect you to stand for the truth and respect the wish and aspirations of the Nigerian people

Britain noticed all these above, yet the outcome was verified and satisfactory to them!
Which better way could Britain boldly give its approval for the “Tyranny and Corruption” they nutured and institutionalised in the Nigerian Enclave.
So far as their economic interest is garantied by “Tyranny”, all is well with the outcome for the citizens of the Nigerian Enclave so Britain!!!!
    Thanks
