Eleven All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirants in Anambra say the governorship primary billed for Saturday did not take place.

George Muoghalu, the spokesperson of the aspirants, addressed the press on behalf of the group on Saturday in Awka, Anambra state capital.

He said that in all the 326 electoral wards of the state, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials and APC team saddled with the responsibility of conducting the primary election were nowhere to be found.

Muoghalu, who is one of the aspirants, said any claim that suggests a primary took place is tantamount to fraud.
