On Sunday, Nasir el-Rufai, governor of Kaduna state, assured the people that all those culpable in the dastardly act of killing innocent people in the area would be tracked down and prosecuted.

He said the biggest assignment in southern Kaduna is for the citizen to unite and do the best to see that “they have peace and unity as a prerequisite for progress and development”.

All efforts to restore normalcy in the troubled spots in the state have not yielded the desired result.
