After 12 years in the music industry, 2face is still at the top of his game as Ascension, is sixth album, has been named the highest-selling album in Nigeria on i Tunes.
About a month ago, Ascension was listed Number 12 on the US Billboard charts for World Music, just within a month of its release.
The album, which was released on July 21, features other Nigerian and some international artistes including Bridget Kelly, Vector, Dammy Krane, Iceberg Slim and Fally Ipupa
After topping the iTunes Nigeria chart for some weeks now, the album has sold a higher number of copies and according to feelers, it will break other records.
The iTunes Nigeria music chart showed that the album had become No.1 at the cadre for weeks.
