In May 2014, former President Goodluck Jonathan said Nigerians are not poor, going by the high rate of private jet ownership in the country.
“If you talk about ownership of private jets, Nigeria will be among the first 10 countries, yet they are saying that Nigeria is among the five poorest countries,” he had said.
Fast forward to 2017, the number of private jet owners in Nigeria may be about to increase as an affordable jet has been created.
