What has been described as the most expensive divorce in history will leave the ex-wife of Russian Billionare, a whole lot richer. A Swiss Court has ordered the Billionaire, Dmitry Rybolovlev to pay the amount of $4.5 billion as a settlement to his ex-wife.

Property worth 130.5 million francs ($146 million) in Gstaad, where the couple owned two swanky chalets were also granted to his ex-wife in the judgement.

It awarded his ex-wife two other pieces of real estate in the ultra-wealthy area of Geneva known as Cologny, where the couple once lived together, but listed no value for either address.

A statement released by Lawyers for Rybolovlev’s ex-wife Elena, on the other hand, said that the ruling was a “complete victory.” On top of the settlement money, which amounted to half of Dmitry’s fortune, Elena will receive three different properties—one of which is worth $146 million—and custody of their 13-year-old daughter Anna.

The former couple, both whom are 47 met while in a Russian university and were married in 1987. They began divorce proceedings in 2008. Forbes once estimated Rybolovlev as the 78th richest man on earth thanks to his success in the fertilizer business. He’s now number 147.

This beats the previously most expensive divorce settlement, which was between Alec Wildenstein, the Art heir, and his former wife, Jocelyne, estimated at $2.5 billion (£1.5 billion). The second-highest divorce settlement until now came when Rupert Murdoch, the media mogul, was ordered to award his former wife, Anna, $1.7 billion (£1 billion) in 1999.
