Hadiza Blell, better known by her stage name Di’Ja, on Friday revealed one of the best kept secrets in the entertainment world, as she announced the arrival of her baby boy.

The announcement was made through a video tagged ‘My story so far…. What’s yours?’ on her Instagram page.

The video started with her love story with Rotimi, which began in the summer of 2014, and led to her engagement a year later, and now a son that was totally kept from the public — through out pregnancy.

She thanked her family, friends and fans, especially her Mavin family for their love, guidance, support and prayers.

Di’Ja kept the news of her pregnancy totally away from the media, not seeking “celebrity pregnancy” hype seen with previous pregnancies in the industry.

The Sierra Leonean-Nigerian singer, who joined the Mavin crew in February 2014, has shown time and again that she is not the regular celebrity — she loves to run her private life differently, as seen her personal events.

She was reported to have held a secret wedding in Kaduna in the latter part of 2015, but she denied the wedding, regarding it as a “mere video shoot”.

Di’ja continually kept up appearances in the media, but with little or no suspicion of a pregnancy. She attended the January 1, 2016 controversial Headies, with no signs of pregnancy.

She has also posted a number of pictures and short videos on Instagram, with no hint of pregnancy.

Di’Ja, a breed of two countries, has a double degree in Biology and Psychology, but remains passionate about music and art.

The Awwww crooner has won numerous awards and loads of nomination since her arrival on the music scene.
