Biafra protesters took to Pall Mall Street, less than a kilometre away from Buckingham Palace, to ask President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigerian government for the release of Nnamdi Kanu.

The protesters, who were being monitored by the British Police, led the protest to make a statement at the Commonwealth Head of Government Meetings  (CHOGM 2018) was officially declared opened by Queen Elizabeth II, with Buhari in attendance.
