So many of us live our lives daily without defined goals or single-mindedness.

We wake up, get ready for work, have generic conversations with people during the day, go through assigned chores, get back home, watch television, eat, sleep.

Living life not knowing what we’re living for. Nothing brings more unfulfillment than this.

The key to true happiness is to find purpose.

Genuine accomplishment is when you know what you were crafted to do and you pursue it relentlessly.That knowledge fuels your daily endeavors.

You find that you have something to live for every time you wake up.

Many measure success by the amount of wealth, power or even status they have attained.

Yet, they still feel like there’s something missing.

Have you ever felt that way? Like there was this void in your heart and you needed to fill it up before it grows bigger?

Life isn’t just about growing up, going to school, making money, retiring and then dying.

No! Everyone has a purpose. Each person is created for a specific reason and until we achieve that, we’ll keep feeling like we are not complete.

Without a clearly defined purpose, we are just a mass of goals and non-goals, actions and non-actions floating through time and space.

Purpose isn’t something we let others choose for us, it’s what we choose for ourselves.

But how do you find your purpose? It’s easy to say “Find your purpose” but HOW?

Become aware that “what is” is not an authentic expression of who you really are.

Acknowledge the difference between living mindfully in the present moment and constantly projecting personal desires toward a future state that may never become reality.

Commit towards expressing your true self and living intentionally. When we identify and commit to our intentions, the opportunities and methods for achieving our purpose will begin to show up.

Always remember to deliberate with your head and follow with your heart. Do not live a life without consideration for consequences but do not put your happiness away in order to please others.

You, just as much as everyone else, deserve your love and affection.

Challenge yourself but be kind to self also. Do not beat yourself up for the failures you cannot control.

Instead, take action based on insights and inspired ideas. Take risks and learn from your mistakes.

As long as your life is moving forward, you are living a life of significance.

Believe that your life is worth living and your belief will create the fact.

Find your passion, whatever it may be. Become it, and let it become you.

For the heart of human excellence often begins to beat when you discover a pursuit that absorbs you, frees you, challenges you or gives you a sense of meaning.
