Angelina Joli ‘open’ to a career in politics
Popular Hollywood actress, Angelina Jolie, might be more inclined towards politics than future films.
Speaking with Vanity Fair for its December issue, Jolie said she was “open” to exploring new opportunities.
“When you work as a humanitarian, you are conscious that politics has to be considered,” Jolie told Janine di Giovanni, Vanity Fair’s contributing editor.
“Because if you really want to make an extreme change, then you have a responsibility.”
However, the Oscar winning actress has not decided the role that would be most appropriate for her.
“But I honestly don’t know in what role I would be more useful. I am conscious of what I do for a living, and that [could] make it less possible,” she said.
Meanwhile, Jolie continues with her movie career and is currently working on ‘By the Sea’, which she is directing and starring in with her husband, Brad Pitt.
