Lyon thrash Oshoala’s Barca to lift 4th back-to-back Champions League title
Olympique Lyonnais Féminin thrashed Asisat Oshoala’s Barcelona 4-1 to clinch their fourth back-to-back Champions League trophy at the Ferencvaros Stadium, Budapest.
Oshoala’s dream of a victory over Lyon to make the Catalan side the first club to win the Champions League with both their male and female sides was dashed.
Lyonnais have now won six Champion League title within nine years.
Barca, who had not conceded a goal in six Champions League fixtures before the final, found themselves four down after half an hour.
