Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala, has said that winning two individual medals at the Glo-CAF Awards will only make her work harder so as to enhance her career.

Oshoala’s exploits at the Women’s U-20 World Cup and Africa Women’s Championship where she helped the Falconets and the Falcons to silver and gold respectively were recognised at the award gala night where she won the Africa Women’s Player of the Year and the Youth Player of the Year.

The MVP of the two tournaments knows that she’s now the cynosure and can’t afford to rest in her laurels.

“This award will make me to work harder in the New Year, and it is a big boost for my career,” Oshoala said.

The 20-year-old Rivers Angels star has now set her sights on more glory at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in June in Canada, although she was a bit coy on her next career move.

“Well, a lot of top European clubs have showed interest in me but I’m still with Rivers Angels at the moment. Moreover, the Nigeria league is very competitive and I’m not in a hurry to leave,” she said.
