Obafemi Hamzat, deputy governor of Lagos state, says it is not easy to undergo coronavirus test.

In a post on his Twitter handle, he said though the experience was unpleasant, it is imperative for him to perform his role as a leader.

Hamzat, who said he tested negative for the disease, appealed to the public to play their part in containing the spread by staying home.

“The COVID-19 test is not a pleasant experience but it is important that as a leader nothing distracts me from my role this period,” he tweeted
