PHOTOS: PTF inaugurates THISDAY Dome isolation centre
The presidential task force (PTF) on COVID-19 has inaugurated THISDAY Dome in Abuja as an isolation centre
The facility was donated by Nduka Obaigbena, publisher of THISDAY newspaper, to support the fight against COVID-19.
The project was handled in collaboration with Sahara Foundation, an arm of Sahara Group.
Among those present at the inauguration were Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation (SGF) and chairman of the PTF; Godwin Emefiele, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor and Osagie Ehanire, minister of health.
The centre tagged “Thisday Dome Treatment Center” is equipped with ICU centre complete with ventilators, X-Ray and dialysis, 54 gene testing mobile Lab complete with reagents – with a scalable 200-1000 tests per day.
