Abike Dabiri-Erewa, chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), and Maryam Uwais, special adviser to the president on social investment, will coach mentees in the second cohort of the Bolaji Abdullahi mentorship programme.

Awogbenle said Uwais is expected to facilitate a session on the principles of leadership on April 27, while Dabiri-Erewa will tutor the mentees on practical lessons on leadership on May 2.

He said during the sessions, the mentees are expected to learn vital and practical lessons on leadership, adding that both speakers have distinguished themselves in public service.

“Mrs Uwais and Mrs Dabiri-Erewa have both distinguished themselves in public and private sector leadership. This is evident in their visible record of excellence and the strategic position they presently hold in Nigeria’s presidency,” he said.

“They have both remained a symbol of hope and inspiration to many young people, particularly young women, they have also demonstrated by their record that leadership is about service, capacity and clarity of purpose.”

Uwais is a legal practitioner and human rights activist with over 36 years of law practice experience.
