FACT CHECK: Lady in viral picture and video NOT Chidinma, alleged killer of Super TV CEO
You must have seen the viral picture and video shared as that of Chidinma Ojukwu, the alleged killer of Usifo Ataga, chief executive officer of Super TV.
Checks by TheCable revealed that the lady in both picture and video is someone else who has nothing to do with the murder case.
On Thursday, the Lagos state police command announced the arrest of Chidinma, a student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), over the death of Ataga.
The suspect, who had lodged with the late media mogul in a hotel in Lekki, was arrested after he was found dead with wounds on his body.

Shortly after the incident, the picture of a fair lady wearing a brown outfit began to circulate on social media as that of Chidinma.
A Twitter user identified as Dare Adelekan, whose profile identified him as a public and government relations advisor, shared the picture alongside others and claimed they were those of the suspect.
“Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu, planned to murder Michael Usifo Ataga. She booked the short service apartment on June 13, 2021 ahead of her sinister plan,” Adelekan wrote.
“She was the one who ordered for the roofies they took. The anonymous dispatch rider who delivered the drug may be an accomplice.”
A blog, @infong.com, had also shared the picture in an article on “13 things you should know about Chidinma Ojukwu, the alleged killer of Super TV CEO”.
In another dimension, a Twitter user tweeting via @Shomolutogethe1 shared a video showing the same lady captured in the viral photos.
The video, which has been viewed hundreds of times, is circulating across social media channels, particularly WhatsApp.
BUT SHE IS NOT CHIDINMA
Contrary to claims that the lady in question is Chidinma, TheCable found that she is a different person who goes by the name Beverly Tlhako.
Her Instagram page, identifies has as a brand influencer and South African.
TheCable found that Tlhako shared the picture and video where she wore the brown two-piece outfit five months ago, specifically on January 2, 2021.

Tlhako had shared the trending picture alongside three others in a single post that has generated over 28,000 likes and more than 370 comments.
She had also shared the video in question on January 2.
