Ethiopian Airlines on Saturday resumed its flight to the Nigeria’s commercial city of Kano 10 years after it suspended fights to the city because of bad weather.

The resumed flight touched down at the Kano International Airport to a warm reception from Kano businessmen and politicians led by the state’s deputy governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje.

Ganduje, who received the airline’s officials, pledged the state government’s support to sustain the operation of the four-weekly flight to the city.

He said that there was high demand of the airline services in the state.
