National Waves magazine is set to celebrate its 14th anniversary, during which it will honour some personalities and companies.

Some of the personalities and companies to be honoured at an award event scheduled for July 23 in Lagos, include Festus Keyamo, minister of state for labour and employment; Ned Nwoko, politician and philanthropist; the Dangote Group, and Julius Berger.

At the event, Keyamo is also expected to deliver a lecture with the theme, ‘The Judiciary and the 2023 Elections’.

Adewole Adebayo, presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) is also scheduled to deliver a lecture titled, ‘Let the Vote Count: The Imperative of Free and Fair Election’.

Speaking on the forthcoming event in a statement on Tuesday, Jimmy Enyeh, publisher of National Waves, said the recipients of the awards were carefully nominated due to their service to humanity and “immense contributions” to the development of the country.

“Others [for awards] are immediate past Enugu State Commissioner for Environment and Labour Party gubernatorial candidate, Hon. Chijioke Edeoga; the Publisher, Pointblank News, and founder, Mary and Ude-Jack Foundation, Chief Jackson Ude; President of Institute of Debt Recovery Practitioners of Nigeria, Mr Chris Akintunde Opeodu; and MD/CEO of Corporate Choices Nigeria Limited, Mr Chia Waya,” the statement reads.
