Reports on the official launch of the presidential campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch says PDP governors and chieftains arrived in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state capital, in at least 15 private and chartered jets for the formal inauguration of the party’s presidential campaign.
