A teacher, Mrs Carol Onwe, said the Easter celebration was very peaceful without any reported case of security breaches.

“Some of us who did not travel to join our kit and kin, had a wonderful and peaceful celebration with visible police presence to offer protection as well as ward off criminals,” she said.

“People moved about freely without any molestation or attack by hoodlums while the police and the Civil Defence patrolled major roads and streets in the city.”

A business man, Mr Linus Nkwuda, said the capital city witnessed calm and tranquility with residents going about their normal businesses unmolested.
