A note of thanks from TheCable team

Exactly one month ago, we launched TheCable newspaper “to deliver knowledge-driven journalism in the pursuit of Nigeria’s progress”.

Our mandate is to deliver news and views with speed and simplicity, paying particular attention to politics and business.

We were technically challenged at take-off, mainly because we underestimated the interest the newspaper was going to generate from day one.

Today, as we express our gratitude to our readers who showed understanding in the early days and those who came on board thereafter, we are happy to announce that we are on course to attaining our goals.

Our statistics are growing at an astonishing pace: in fact, where we are today on Alexa Ranking ─ after just 30 days ─ is where we projected we would be in one year.

Indeed, thanks to you ─ our dear readers ─ we climbed into the Top 500 most visited website in Nigeria in less than 21 days.

We are aware that we are yet to deliver on most of our promises, but as we move into the second month, we pledge to step up our game.
