Abimbola Adebisi, the Lagos police spokesperson
Kayode Egbetokun, inspector-general of police, has appointed Abimbola Adebisi, as spokesperson of the Lagos command.
Adebisi will be replacing Benjamin Hundeyin, the former Lagos police spokesperson, who was recently elevated to the role of force public relations officer (FPRO).
The appointment of Adebisi was announced in a statement released by Babaseyi Oluseyi, deputy Lagos police spokesperson, on Monday.

Prior to her appointment, Adebisi was the public relations liaison officer of the special protection unit (SPU) at the force headquarters in Abuja.
She had previously served as staff officer to the deputy IGP, operations, and personal assistant to the commissioner of police, SPU.
Adebisi holds a bachelor’s degree in english language and literature education from Tai Solarin University of Education, Ogun state.

She earned a postgraduate diploma in peace studies and conflict resolution, and a master of arts (MA) in english language from the National Open University of Nigeria. Adebisi is an associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
She is also a member of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), the International Association of Women Police (IAWP), and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).
Adebisi earned a certificate in Child Protection from the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, Accra, Ghana.
