Emmanuel Adewale Adedokun, a professor in the department of computer engineering at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has been named the 2025 recipient of the Paul Muchene Fellow Award.

The Paul Muchene Fellowship is awarded by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).

The award, announced in the June 11 edition of the ICANN83 Newsletter, honours the legacy of the late Paul Muchene, former ICANN fellowship programme manager.

It recognises individuals who have made outstanding contributions to internet policy and technical development within the global internet ecosystem.
