Africa Day: Dakuku Peterside to speak on Nigeria’s leadership role in the continent
Dakuku Peterside, former director-general of the Nigerian Maritime and Safety Agency (NIMASA), will speak on May 25 at an event to celebrate Africa Day.
The event is being organised by the Center for Pan-African and Peace Studies (CePAPS) of the African University of Science and Technology (AUST), Abuja.
Peterside will speak on the theme titled: “The Future of Africa and Nigeria’s Leadership Role”.
According to a statement by the Peterside media team, the former NIMASA DG will identify the parameters of global and continental leadership while exploring the theme.
The statement said the event will also feature speakers and panellists who will x-ray the importance of Afrocentric architecture in developing new landscapes for Nigeria.
The lecture is open to the public and participants will have the opportunity to network with other professionals in the field of architecture and leadership.
The event will take place at the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) hall, AUST campus by 11 am.
Online participants can attend the event via zoom.
