Two days after suicide bombers struck in Chibok, Borno state, a suicide bomber attacked a market in the Gombi area of Adamawa state.

A witness told BBC that he saw at least eight dead bodies, after the blast which happened at 12:00pm.

Haruna Furo, executive Secretary of the Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency, confirmed the incident but said the agency was trying to get details of casualties.

He also said it was unclear whether the blast was caused by a suicide bomber or the bomb was planted.

“It is a young boy that carried out the mission”, Umar said.
