Aggrieved members place fetish objects at Delta APC secretariat
A calabash containing eggs, white native chalk tied with red pieces, were among the strange objects placed at the entrance of All Progressives Congress (APC) secretariat in Asaba, Delta state capital, on Monday.
The state chapter of the party currently has two factions. One of the factions led by Jones Ode Erue, a prophet, had fixed an executive meeting for 10am on Tuesday.
According to a source, when the officials got there, they found the fetish objects and also discovered that the gate was locked with a padlock painted in red colour.
The source said the officials forced the door open after disposing the objects.
They reportedly held their meeting without any disturbance.
Supporters of Francis Okpozo, a second republic politician, who is head of the other faction, are allegedly behind the incident.
