Ahmed Musa leaves Kano Pillars after 3 months, joins Turkey's Fatih Karagumruk

Fatih Karagumruk SK, Turkish Super Lig club, have confirmed the signing of Ahmed Musa, Super Eagles captain, from Kano Pillars.
The acquisition of the 28-year-old attacker was announced on the club’s verified Instagram page on Thursday.
“Ahmed Musa in Karagumruk. We added the 28-year-old Nigerian attacker to our squad,” the post read.
“He played for clubs such as VVV Venlo, CSKA Moscow and Leicester City in his career. He scored 15 goals in 87 matches for the Nigerian National Team.
“We wish success to Ahmed Musa under the Karagümrük jersey, signed by our Vice President Serkan Hurma and our Sporting Director Murat Akın.”
The duration and the other details of the deal are yet to be revealed.
The transfer comes barely three months after Musa rejoined Kano Pillars on a flexible contract that granted him permission to leave the club whenever a move surfaces.
Prior to signing for Pillars, the Super Eagles captain had been without a club since leaving Al Nassr in October 2020.
Karagumruk is the fourth European club that Musa would be playing for in his career that spans as far back as 2008.
Musa moved to Europe in 2010 to join VVV Venlo before heading to Russia in the books of CSKA Moscow, where he announced himself to the world. He won the Russian league three times with the club.
He then made a £16 million move to Leicester City, where he spent 2 seasons before heading to the middle east with Al Nassr.
