The third edition of the Nigerian media leaders’ summit organised by The Journalism Clinic (TJC) will hold from May 5-6.
The event, which is billed to take place at the Academy Suites in Abeokuta, Ogun state, will see media executives discuss avenues to turn the connections with their audiences and communities into gold in the age of AI.
In a statement on Wednesday, Taiwo Obe, founder and director of TJC, said the event will see five media executives share insights and peculiarities on audience engagement.
The speakers include Frank Aigbogun, publisher of Business Day; Joseph Adeyeye, CEO/editor-in-chief at Punch Newspapers; Toun Okewale-Sonaiya, chief executive officer of Women Radio; Betty Akeredolu-Ale, CEO Branama TV; and Musikilu Mojeed, editor-in-chief of Premium Times.

Obe noted that the segment would have Tolu Ogunlesi, a former presidential aide, as moderator.
“It is an occasion for the leaders to square up to their markets for enduring prosperity, particularly in the age of artificial intelligence,” the statement reads.
The summit, which will bring together 60 media executives from across the country, is supported by Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG), Lagos and Ogun state governments, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Nigerian Railway Corporation, TheCable, Fidelity Bank, The Punch, The Nation, among others.
