Olubunmi Kuku, the managing director (MD) of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), has been elected vice-president of Airports Council International (ACI) Africa.
In a statement on Thursday, the FAAN said Kuku’s election solidifies her position as a permanent member of the ACI world governing board, building on her prior role as regional advisor for Africa.
The authority said the ratification took place during the 34th ACI Africa General Assembly held in Lusaka, Zambia.
According to the FAAN, ACI Africa advocates for aviation interests across the continent, representing 53 countries with over 290 airports, and plays a vital role in promoting safe and sustainable aviation practices.
