Airtel Nigeria has unveiled ‘SmartRecharge’, an “offer to reward” its customers during the festive season.

In a statement, the telco said the offer is available to new and existing prepaid subscribers.

It said SmartRecharge allows Airtel customers to enjoy ten times the value of any recharge on their lines using the *220*PIN# shortcode, which can be used for data and calls to all networks.

“Under this plan, a recharge of N100 will earn a customer N1,000 value, with a three day validity period,” the statement read.

“Similarly, recharge of N200 will earn a customer N2,000 value, with a seven day validity period, while a recharge of N1000, will reward customers with N17,500 (N10,000 plus N7,500 extra data) with a 14 day validity period.”

Speaking on the SmartRecharge offer, Ahmah Mokhles, chief commercial officer, Airtel Nigeria, said the new offer will give customers unrestricted access to friends, family members and business associates.

“Yuletide is special as it brings family and friends together to enjoy the best life offers,” he said.

“Airtel’s SmartRecharge offering is focused to engender happiness, freedom and encourage Nigerians to express love in celebration of Yuletide.”
