Aisha Buhari: Funtua will be remembered for his support to female politicians
Aisha, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, says Isa Funta, her husband’s ally and in-law, will be remembered for helping female politicians.
In a tribute to Funtua who died on Monday, she said Funtua assisted the politicians to get appointments in the last four years.
She prayed for God to grant the family the fortitude to bear “the irreparable loss”.
“Inna lillahi Wa inna ilaihi Raji’un on behalf of my family I extend our condolence to Mrs Hauwa Isa Funtua and the entire family on the sudden death of Malam Ismaila Isa Funtua,” Aisha wrote in a tweet.
“We pray that Allah SWT will grant him Aljannatul Firdaus. Mallam Ismaila Isa Funtua will be remembered for his support to female politicians, especially his role to get them appointed into different boards in the last 4 years.”
