After a wonderful weekend of football and some outstanding performances, TheCable picks the best Nigerian XI.

Adeleye Adebayo [Hapoel Jerusalem]

Another exceptional performance for Adebayo who saved at least 7 efforts on goal. Free-kicks, volleys, headers, in fact, he stopped everything thrown at him. Miraculous.

Ola Aina [Fulham]

Semi Ajayi [West Bromwich Albion]

Semi Ajayi showed all his experience and discipline in dealing with Liverpool’s pressure and his superb positioning saw him intercept several dangerous balls before they developed into anything too serious. He popped up with a timely equaliser for the Baggies. Alert.
