Trent Alenxander-Arnold joined Liverpool at age six
Trent Alexander-Arnold has confirmed his exit from Liverpool at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old, whose contract with his boyhood club expires on 30 June, announced his exit in a post on social media.
The right-back has been at Liverpool since he was six.
Alexander-Arnold said the decision was the “hardest” he had ever made and that he “will forever be in debt” to Liverpool.

The defender said he is ready for “a new challenge, taking myself out of my comfort zone and pushing myself both professionally and personally.”
“After 20 years at Liverpool Football Club, now is the time for me to confirm that I will be leaving at the end of the season,” Alexander-Arnold writes.
“This club has been my whole life – my whole world – for 20 years. From the Academy right through until now, the support and love I have felt from everyone inside and outside of the club will stay with me forever. I will forever be in debt to you all.”

The exit comes amid reported interest from Real Madrid. The Spanish club has been heavily linked with the English player, and the Santiago Bernabeu appears to be his likeliest destination.
Alexander-Arnold came through the Liverpool academy and debuted for the first team in 2016. He made 352 appearances and scored 23 goals for the club, winning two English Premier League (EPL) titles, the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and Club World Cup trophies in 2019.
He also lifted two Carabao Cups, one FA Cup, and one Community Shield.
