Sergey Mavrodi, founder of the Mavrodi Mondial Movement (MMM) ponzi scheme, passed away on Monday.

Mavrodi, 62, was reported to have died of a heart attack at a hospital in Moscow, the capital of Russia.

Some of the Nigerians among those who lost over N18bn to the ponzi scheme in took to Twitter to comment on the death of Mavrodi.
