Amaechi’s spokesman attacks Reno Omokri on Twitter
David Iyofor, spokesman of Rotimi Amaechi, minister of transportation, attacked Reno Omokri, an aide of former President Goodluck Jonathan, over the comment of the minister that he does not like money.
Last week, during an interview with Channels Television, Amaechi said he could not be corrupt since he does not like money.
“Is my honesty in doubt?” Amaechi had asked.
“I have told Nigerians and I repeat today that I am not corrupt and that I don’t like money. I am not one swayed by money.”
Reacting to Amaechi’s questions, Omokri asked how the minister who allegedly wears expensive clothes, could claim he does not like money.
This obviously annoyed Iyofor who fired back at Omokri.
