Akinwunmi Ambode, the governor-elect of Lagos state, released his official portrait (pictured) four days ahead of his swearing-in ceremony.

He said from May 29, he wants to be addressed simply as Akinwunmi Ambode, the governor of Lagos state.

“He, hereby, puts it on record that from May 29, 2015, he wishes to be addressed as Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, the governor of Lagos state,” read a statement issued by his media team on Sunday.
