Victor Anibeche’s brace in the match against Hull City helped Sunderland to move out of the bottom of the English Premier League.

Sunderland won 3-0 at the Stadium of Light on Saturday evening.

Jermain Defoe opened the scoring in 34th minute, and the game ended at 1-0 at the end of the first half.

Few minutes into the second half, the stadium was plunged into darkness, forcing fans to rely on their mobile phones for light.

Referee Lee Mason took the players off the pitch for at least 10 minutes.

At the resumption of the game, Anichebe secured double goal for his team.

The player has moved Sunderland off the bottom of the table after a rare back-to-back wins.
