The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced a change in venue and time for its national executive committee (NEC) meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 24.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Felix Morka, the APC national publicity secretary, said the meeting will now hold at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, by 2pm.
“The change of venue from the Party’s National Secretariat – 40 Blantyre Street, Wuse II, Abuja to the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja is due to logistical reasons,” the statement reads.
Earlier on Wednesday, newspaper reports indicated that the selection of a substantive national chairman would top the agenda at the APC NEC meeting.

Other key items reportedly slated for discussion include updates from the Constitution Review Committee and deliberations on party congresses.
On June 27, Abdullahi Ganduje, former Kano state governor, resigned from his position as national chairman of the APC.
Following Ganduje’s exit, his deputy from the north, Ali Bukar Dalori, assumed leadership of the party in an acting capacity.
