APC announces sale of forms for Ekiti, Osun governorship polls
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the sale of forms for Ekiti and Osun governorship elections.
In a statement in Abuja on Sunday, John Akpanudodehe, national secretary of the APC caretaker and extra-ordinary convention planning committee (CECPC), said sales of expression of interest and nomination forms for Ekiti governorship election will begin on November 16, while that of Osun will begin on November 18.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had fixed the two governorship elections for 2022.
While the election in Ekiti will hold on June 18, the exercise will take on July 16, 2022 in Osun.
The electoral umpire recently concluded the governorship election in Anambra state, where Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) was declared the winner of the November 6 poll.
