The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fixed August 27 for its governorship primary election in Ondo state.

Osita Izunaso, the party’s national organising secretary, disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday.

The statement said forms for the election will be available at the party’s secretariat in Abuja between July 19 and August 5.

Apart from the two female aspirants, who have been exempted from purchasing forms, those participating in the exercise will pay N5 million for the nomination form, and N500,000 for expression of interest form.

The statement said screening of aspirants will be conducted in Abuja from August 9 to August 12.
