Ayoola Olajolo
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Ayoola Olajolo as director of administration at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
Felix Morka, APC national publicity secretary, announced the appointment in a statement on Friday.
Olajolo, a lawyer and public administrator from Ile-Ife, Osun state, was called to the Nigerian bar in 2016.
He previously served as secretary, and later chairman of Ife central local government between 1999 and 2003, before joining the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), where he rose to assistant chief legal officer.

The APC said Olajolo brings “a formidable combination of legal expertise, grassroots political understanding, and high-level bureaucratic acumen” to the role.
He is expected to oversee the day-to-day administration of the secretariat and ensure the smooth execution of the party’s programmes.
The position became vacant following the death of Rauf Adeniji, the party’s former director of administration, who was abducted in January and later confirmed dead in captivity.

Adeniji, also from Ile-Ife, had coordinated the daily operations of the APC secretariat until his kidnap.
