After four years, Apple has finally launched iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus, which its chief executive officer Tim cook referred to as “the best phones ever made”.

At the unveiling on Tuesday, Apple Incorporated did not stop at the launch of iphone 6 and iphone 6 plus, but also went to play the “one more thing” game, which was last played by Steve Jobs in 2010.

This time, the one more thing was the corporation’s “Apple watch”, a wrist watch that Cook referred to as the “most personal device ever created” by Apple.

The iphone 6 spots a 4.7″ screen, 326 pixels per inch, with a thickness of 6.9mm. 8mp iSight rear camera, recording at 1080p at 30, 60 frames per seconds. With Video, Apple has introduced a new “slo-mo” (Slow motion) recording feature at 240p.

The iphone 6 plus, on the other hand, spots a 5.5′ screen, 401 pixels per inch with a thickness of just 7.1mm and same camera features of the iphone 6.

These phones, which feature wifi-calling, are Apple’s slimmest phones.

The Apple watch has most of the specifications of other wrist gadgets from the likes of Samsung, with focus on health fitness and personalisations.

For the software market, Apple launched its iOS 8,which most other Apple device can upgrade to. Also, Apple pay was launched to use near-field communications (NFC) in easy transactions and payment. Apple is hopeful this would revolutionalize payments.

The company seems to be responding to competition by keeping the prices relatively friendly. Iphone 6 starts at $199 (About N33,000), while iPhone 6 plus starts at $299 (About N50,000) but the variants with 128gb ROM goes for as high as $399 (About N66,000).

The devices are to be available in the US from September 17, though they could be pre-ordered from September 12.

They expected to be available in 115 countries before the end of 2014.
