In a statement on Saturday, Sandra Okwundu, the lead, tech & skills development of the organisation, said seven shortlisted participants will pitch their innovative ideas before a panel in September.

The shortlisted candidates will showcase their ideas at a demo event.

“Applications will be evaluated based on the originality of ideas, effectiveness of innovation, market potential, scalability of idea, technical knowledge and capacity to develop the idea, among others,” the statement reads.

“The challenge promises exciting prizes including a laptop, cash prizes, tech-skills development courses and one-year mentoring to support the winners to develop their innovation.

“Shortlisted applicants will be invited for interview by 12th August, 2023 ahead of the Demo event in September 2023.”
