The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Nigeria is looking to recruit a consultant for the development of the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (2023-2027).
The UN organisation is also recruiting candidates for other roles such as national evaluation consultant (Nigerian Nationals Only), national programme officer (Trafficking) and programme analyst – technical coherence officer (Spotlight initiative).
According to the notice on its website, the consultant for the UN sustainable development cooperation framework is expected to collaborate with the Nigerian government, United Nations Country Team (UNCT), Programme Management Team (PMT) and key stakeholders to facilitate the consultation as well as design and drafting.
It said the framework will serve as the next partnership deal between Nigeria and the UN System towards accelerating the achievement of the 2030 agenda for sustainable development.
The UNDP said the consultant’s tasks include:
Applicants are expected to have at least a master’s degree in related fields for all the four roles advertised.
They must also have a proven track record of previous work experience in developing published documents or policy briefs with government, development sector or academia; experience in facilitating group discussions, and workshops, among other requirements.
