Leon Balogun (Rangers) – Centre Back

Rock-solid at the back, Balogun put up an inspirational performance as Rangers demolished Hamilton Academical 8-0.

John Obi Mikel (Stoke City) – Centre Midfield

The former Nigeria international was very good at the heart of the Stoke City midfield. The Chelsea legend organised the game and his tackles were perfect.

Aribo keeps improving day by day. The best Rangers player of the week. He was hardworking, committed and passionate. He notched two goals. Hard to imagine a Rangers team without Aribo.

Okwuchukwu Ezeh (Balikesirspor) – Right Attacking Midfield

Absolutely magnificent. Outpaced the Altay defenders for most of the game. He was brilliant when he attacked and incredible when he defended. He was energetic throughout the game as well as bagged a brace.

Magical! Effiong was too much for the Lobi Stars defence to handle. Lightning pace, skilful, agile and beautiful to watch, he notched up a sublime free-kick.

Victor Osimhen (Napoli) – Forward

Amidst some days of pressure, Osimhen came back strong yet again. The striker scored the solitary goal to hand Napoli victory at Bologna.

Kabiru Dogo (Lobi Stars) – Manager

Yet again, Dogo proves a point. An excellent manager who brings something out of nothing for the Pride of Benue. His tactics were spot on against Akwa United.
