Arsenal’s long wait for a trophy is finally over as the Gunners came from behind to beat Hull in extra-time to be crowned FA Cup champions.

It was a classic underdog performance from the plucky Tigers, who opened up a 2-0 lead inside ten minutes in a packed Wembley Stadium.

But the north London outfit’s superior endurance paid dividends as Arsene Wenger’s men struck twice to force extra-time, with Aaron Ramsey netting the winner with ten minutes remaining to end the club’s nine year drought.

Hull stunned the Gunners by going 2-0 up inside the first eight minutes as defenders James Chester and Curtis Davies scored following set-pieces.

But Santi Cazorla’s free-kick got Arsenal back in the game and Laurent Koscielny equalised in the second half.

Arsenal dominated extra-time and Ramsey sealed the glory with a precise finish and end Arsenal’s nine-year trophy drought.
