Favour Ashe won the senior men’s 100 meters title at the 2025 MTN Champs finale in Uyo. 

The 22-year-old clocked a season’s best 10.20 seconds to win gold in the event’s final, which was held on Thursday at the Godwill Akpabio Stadium.

Bayelsa’s Augustine Ezuruike finished second after dipping 10.48 seconds, and Amreremenore Edesiri of Global Track & Field completed the podium.

Last month, Ashe had won the men’s 100 meters crown at the Lagos Continental Relays which held at the sport complex of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH).

In the women’s senior 100m race, Kate Odumosu clinched the title with a new personal best of 11.36 seconds. Chioma Cynthia and Chika Bakwanye finished with silver and bronze, respectively.

In the senior men’s 400m, Victor Sampson won the title with a 47.07-second finish ahead of Michael Ighogboja of Global Track & Field and Johnson Nnamani, who took bronze.

Rhoda Adisa ran a tactical race in the senior women’s 400m, winning gold and achieving a new personal best of 53.96 seconds. Miracle Donald finished with silver while Odot Udo edged out Jane Onyeneho for Bronze with 54.50s.

In the under-21 men’s 100m race, Stanley William took the title in a personal best of 10.68s, ahead of Alvin Onyeama and Righteous Olerirume of Favoured Stars.
