Alpha Trust Investment Club (ATIC) embarked on its first corporate social responsibility (CSR) outing to Abuja Children’s Home and donated food items, beverages, and toiletries worth over N200,000.

Aderemi Adeoye, president of the group, said ATIC prioritises helping the less privileged alongside empowering Nigerians through wealth creation.

“An investment group like ATIC is not only focused on empowering Nigerians through wealth creation in a genuine and legitimate way but also prioritizes helping the less privileged, reason why we chose to donate gift items that will make Christmas a little merrier for children in the orphanage,” he said.

“ATIC couldn’t have chosen a better orphanage to support; Abuja Children’s Home is a government-funded institution, well structured and organised.

“It attracts a lot of patronage and interest from across sections of society. We found there are volunteer experts who visit regularly to make inputs into the children’s development.

“We hope to make it an annual event henceforth. We will make it bigger and decentralise it so that on days appointed for such visits, any town where we have sizeable number of members will be able to carry out the visit to homes for the less privileged in their towns simultaneously.”

Responding, Hanatu Atta, administrator of the orphanage, expressed her appreciation to ATIC for its love for the less privileged.

She promised that the items will be judiciously used for the children in the orphanage home.
